June 9th - More Whelks!

Hello everyone!
The weekend is about to start, and we're all really excited. Next week we head to Origins, where we'll have the opportunity to talk to gamers from all over the world about Wyrd's games... and it's a chance to demo The Other Side.
It's a lot of fun to demo the game and see people grasp the mechanics and start making strategic moves in their very first game.
If you have a chance to come by Origins next weekend, you should do so! Stop by and say hi to the Wyrd team and check out some production-run models for The Other Side.
For now, I leave you with some Armored Whelks from the Gibbering Hordes, next to a Mehal Sefari from Abyssinia.
These models are on 50mm base inserts, on a 120mm movement tray. We've got two of the different sculpts in there, staring everyone down. These models are going to look amazing on the table, and they'll really pop when painted.

June 2nd TOS Update

Hello everyone!
We've got a small update for you this week.
I was recently up in Wisconsin and ran a number of demos of The Other Side, and it went over great! The game was easy for people to pick up, and this allowed them to quickly get into the action.
Continuing this trend, Wyrd will be at Origins Game Fair in a couple of weeks, and we'll have some models to do short demos with. If you supported us or are considering picking up the game down the line, stop on by and get a demo from us! We'd love to see you there.
Lastly, we know that people are waiting patiently for shipping prices, and we appreciate that. We are getting closer each day to good numbers, and we won't close BackerKit until a bit after the numbers are in, to ensure everyone has the time to make any last minute adjustments. As soon as I have more information, I'll convey it to you!
Anyway, we hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and we hope some of you can stop by and say hi at Origins!

Hey everyone!
We hope your week is starting off right! We wanted to show you a picture of some of the Mehal Sefari for Abyssinia.
Some are in the movement base, and we left one out. We put the Devouring Eel there to give you a sense of size.
We're very happy with the detail we're getting on these, and we're continuing to move forward toward production.
Wyrd is out of town for the rest of the week for a trade show, so our responses may be delayed to any inquiries.

Hello!
The weekend is about to begin for the Wyrd office, but before we leave we wanted to show you all an Armored Whelk model!
That's on a 50mm plug base, and you can see it's got a good amount of size! The Armored Whelks are a great addition to a Hordes Company on the tabletop.
Everything is progressing along nicely, and we're hoping to show you even more models soon!
May 8th - Allegiance Balance!

Hey everyone,
Just a short and sweet update for you this week:
1) The playtesting for The Other Side has ended, and we're very pleased with how it's come out. Thank you to everyone who participated; it has helped us get the game to a balanced place.
2) People have been asking about shipping. We will get up final numbers as soon as we can, and we're looking inside the next two weeks. This could change, but we wanted to give you an idea of what we're talking about. BackerKit will stay open past that time to give people a chance to adjust based on shipping numbers.
3) We've seen a few questions on Allegiance numbers, and we thought we'd give you some information. Based on BackerKit selections, all of the Allegiances are within 40 people of 500 selected. This means there's quite a bit of balance in Allegiance selection, as no Allegiance has been chosen significantly more than any other. And I'll say that, much like their models on the table, Gibbering Hordes is in first! There's no stopping the Hordes!
