October 6 - Campaign Update and Painting

Hello everyone!
We hope you're all doing well, and that you're well prepped for your weekend. We've got another update for you today to go over some basic stuff, and then to show off the beginnings of some painted minis, so let's dive in!
Our total for the campaign is just under $439,000, which means we're about $11,000 away from the syndicate models. We're quite close, but we're not there yet. We've still got some time left, so remind your friends who might be interested that there's still a chance to back. I can't speak to when the pledge manager will be updated with shipping costs or closing, but it's not too far off now -- get in while you still can!
I wanted to take a moment to go over the pledges, as we occasionally get questions about what they entail. If you're at the Commander level, you'll receive: your Allegiance Box, your Allegiance Titan, the rulebook, a special edition Fate Deck, your Allegiance's second Commander (Belle, Lord of Steel, Frenzy, or Fenton Brahms), a Token set, one of your Allegiance's Squads (Doomseekers, Armored Whelks, Field Intelligence Corps, or Basotho Cavalry), 3x your Allegiance's Adjunct (Engineer, Morphling, Raving Madman, or Sharpshooter), and an individual model from your Allegiance (Railgunner, Breachling, Egg Clutch, or Motor Scout).
If you backed at Dual Commander, you get 2x everything. If you backed at the Tyrant level, you get 4x all the models, but only one copy of the rulebook, special edition Fate Deck, and Token set.

These are the first work-in-progress pics of some Other Side minis being painted by Angel Giraldez! He's going to be painting a number of the miniatures, so you'll be seeing completed pieces rolling in over time. We're very excited to have him painting with us!

Hello everyone!
We've got some fun news for you today... we just launched a global Malifaux campaign that will have some bearing on the future of the Earth and of The Other Side!
There are three potential syndicates at play, with campaign players able to vote for which will become a full syndicate in The Other Side.
If you play both games or have friends that play Malifaux, direct them over to the campaign's webpage to find out the full rules!

Hello everyone,
Just checking in this week to say that everything is keeping on. We've been in close contact manufacturing, and things are continuing to move forward. We're hoping to have some new models to show off soon, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!
In the interim, we've been working on the organized play formats for the game and have started corresponding with some of our testers to get their feedback. We're looking forward to this game being played competitively at tournaments, as well as casually in leagues and other organized events.
We have a lot of things in store for The Other Side, so thank you for your support, and we'll keep on working to make it the best game we can!

Hello everyone,
Another small update this week, just filling in some information for those who might be missing it.
You can find the BackerKit here. You can still get involved in The Other Side with late pledges, update your pledge, etc. We do not have a date when the BackerKit is ending yet, but everyone will have warning beforehand so that they can check shipping prices and finalize what they want.
Our current combined total is over $437,000 between the Kickstarter and BackerKit. This means that we are just under $13,000 away from our next stretch goal, which is the syndicate models.
The Other Side rules are not currently available, but you can find all of the unit cards over on The Other Side's website. You can also head on over to our forum or the unofficial Facebook group to discuss these units and more, including asking any rules questions you may have.

Hello everyone,
We hope everyone is having a good week and has some good weekend time planned! A few of us Wyrdos are about to head off for a show, and we're looking forward to giving out more demos of The Other Side!
There's no real production update for this week other than to say that no news is good news.
If you're excited about the game and looking for chatter on it, don't forget to check out our Friday Previews, our forum in general, The Other Place Facebook group (unofficial group), and/or the Coordinated Strike podcast (unofficial podcast). There are a lot of excited backers looking to talk more about the game!
