Afternoon,

The word from the UK shipping houses is pretty much everything has shipped. There is a small handful of packages we had to provide clarification on addresses so that the orders could be shipped out. Please check your spam filters for tracking numbers, we have been told that they have been sent directly to you from the shipper.

As additional info becomes available we'll post again.

We're closed for the rest of the week for holiday, returning to the office on Monday.

We have been told that most if not all of the packages from the European shipping house have been processed. Please check your email for tracking and updates. Monday when we return we will post another update from the shipping houses.

Tides of Battle

Tides of Battle - 

Seems appropriate for what it is taking to get all of you sorted with your shipments. All we can do is apologize for the continued delay to shipments that have routed into our European shipping house.  After a bit of a sparring match, we have been given the word that they are finally working on it and packages will be going out. The true frustration for the continued delays can't really be captured. Again, our apologies.

We have been updated on the Canadian shipments as well, looks like there will be movement on them this week. We haven't been given the full word as to how the strike will continue to affect things. But, any movement is a positive sign!

We will continue to keep everyone updated the best we can this week with any news of progress sent our way. As a reminder, later this week we will be celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday and the office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. 

Now for something positive, we would like to share with you our Tides of Battle document. 

Tides of Battle is the official Escalation and Achievement League format for The Other Side. With this document, you will be able to play The Other Side in new and exciting ways by earning achievements and creating new Companies in the process. It’s a fantastic way to meet new players and establish a community in your area. In the Tides of Battle, you’ll also find the Garrison system. Every two weeks, your Company will expand with more Scrip to spend on units and Assets, more Strategems to better prepare you for the battles to come, and more Commanders to lead your Fireteams to glory. The Garrison system will also be a part of the upcoming tournament document, which we will be providing in the near future.

Happy Friday to all of our Backers, 

Want to start this week's update with an apology, we had seen many comments and posts about how we had not responded to numerous customer service requests. We have to admit that left us a little baffled as we have a customer service team that works hard to make sure that everything is sorted in a timely manner.  But, we found out yesterday that customer service requests that are submitted by Backerkit and another source were being sent to an unmanned email. That has now been cleaned up and those requests have been redirected. Again, apologies to anyone that was affected. 

All packages have left and should be arriving soon. All of our international shipping houses have either started shipping or are just days away from starting. We expect next week to be pretty busy with deliveries. 

Today we put up a message on our Facebook page and I want to share it here with you:

"The Other Side has launched! As the last Kickstarter packages have left our warehouse and are approaching doorsteps worldwide, we are preparing its arrival to retail. Many of you have received your packages. Those who are still waiting to receive your shipment should not have to wait much longer. It’s been fantastic to see painted models hitting the tables and being played. While we’re thrilled to see players enjoying the game, we’re less thrilled about the issues that have been brought up recently. We at Wyrd have always stood by our products, and we will continue to do so. The best route for solving these problems, though, is through our contact form. We’re all super excited about The Other Side’s launch and its future and can’t wait to see the game and its community grow for the years to come."

Happy Friday,

It's been a very productive week here at Wyrd!  The domestics are nearing the very end. We filled the truck for both of the pickups we had today and now have to wait till Monday for them to grab the rest of the packages.  We fully expect to need to have 2 or 3 trucks come on Monday to grab everything that is left. 

Weekend work will continue with updates to tracking numbers and completions.  We have been told to expect some start on the shipping of international orders to all international backers next week. As we get those final tracking numbers you will be notified.

A couple quick points - 

1. We still have some folks that have not responded to emails requesting additional information in order to complete their orders.  Any orders that can't be completed will be set aside and shipped as we get the details needed.

2. With the orders shipped, we have had a couple orders get bounced back to us.  If your order comes back to us because of an incorrect address or it is originally refused. We will reach out to you and let you know what the next step is to complete the order.
